Crywolf - Jobs

Things are getting pretty busy here at Crywolf with lots of events and new products in the works and for the first time ever we are putting out a call for summer interns (with the possibility of staying on beyond that). This is where you come in! The Production/Administrative Intern:

What you will be doing is taking on some production work. This is fairly simple but labor intensive work. We will need to meet up with you occasionally to hand-off goods that may need to be pressed, sewn, stuffed, or assembled. Some examples of what we may as of you are: help from you for events (prep/set-up/tear down), photo editing, uploading products to websites, assisting in office administration, sewing tags and plushies, cutting and pressing buttons, help organizing events, inventory and other tasks that may come up.

Prerequisites:

location: must reside in and/or around Richmond Hill/Toronto
bonus skills: SEWING!, crafting, woodworking, photography
background in art/design a plus, but not required
experience and knowledge in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and Excel a plus, but not required

The Designer Intern:

This job requires time in front of the computer. From time to time we need to have small ads created as well as online flyers for sales and monthly newsletters, events and other exciting things. This internship is best suited for design students, who would like to gain experience and have some things for their portfolio. We would love someone who has a creative mind and the ability to understand and work with the Crywolf aesthetic.

Prerequisites:

experience and knowledge in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
in tune with Crywolf's fun and whimsical style
location: anywhere, but must be available on EST, and have internet access
excellent written and verbal communication skills
background/schooling in art & design field
bonus: drawing and illustration skills

The Marketer/Blogger/Social Media Intern:

We've almost lost count of all of the social media sites we are apart of, and keeping on top of all of them is a job on it's own. This is where we need people who have social media and blogging experience. This job will require promoting events, scoping out retail locations, blogging, looking for advertisement and marketing opportunities, updating twitter, facebook, tumblr.

Prerequisites:

must be art & design saavy (up to date on current trends)
working experience with facebook pages, twitter, tumblr and other Social Media
location: anywhere, but must be available on EST, and have internet access
able to research blog and advertising opportunities pertaining to our brand
self directed, and can bring ideas to the table
bonus: education in a marketing/promotions program and experience

For all positions, we require an intern that can meet deadlines and work independently. If you feel that you fit more than one of the required positions please let us know and we may utilize your skill-set as needed. A creative mind would be the icing on the cake.

Expected commitment is 1-2 days a week, hours will vary depending on what needs to get done.

At this time we cannot offer any monetary compensation but as our first intern you will get a rare look inside Crywolf and what is involved in making a small company run. This is a good opportunity for those looking for internships for course credit, but also great for experience.
